Snow Ice Cream

We tried this over the weekend and it was a hit with everyone in the family! It's super quick and easy - if you have snow!

1 gallon snow (I used a 5 quart bowl so I would have room to mix)
1 cup cream or milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix thoroughly and eat immediately! I put the leftovers out on the front step and we had more of it before bed that night!

Just made this for the second time! Love it! I added agave nectar to it~ worked like a charm. And 1 of my daughters wanted chocolate, so I tried adding 1 tsp of cocoa powder to 1 cup of ice cream, then stirred it in well. Tasted pretty good!

however, this time I used heavy whipping cream, because I had it on hand & wanted to get rid of it; that does not make this low calorie. :( 1 cup was equal to 112 cals.

I guess I should clarify. I substituted agave nectar for the sugar. Because the recipe says you can use milk, I have used 1% milk before & it turned out just fine.
